Effective Date: January 1, 2026
Last Updated: January 15, 2026

This Legal Notices & Disclosures page (“Legal Notices”) applies to the website(s), digital content, educational resources, membership access, and services offered by Access Care Services, LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company (“ACS,” “we,” “us,” “our”), including the Golden Guidance Resource Center and any associated webpages, portals, digital downloads, email communications, and social media content (collectively, the “Site”).

These Legal Notices are provided for transparency and to help you understand the scope, limitations, and disclosures related to our information and services. Your use of the Site is also governed by our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, which are incorporated by reference.

If you do not agree with these Legal Notices, please discontinue use of the Site.

1. Educational Information Only – Not Professional Advice

All content on the Site, including the Golden Guidance Resource Center, is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. The content is intended to support and empower individuals and families by improving understanding of health care systems, aging-related services, disability supports, long-term care options, and life transitions—but it is not a substitute for individualized professional advice.

Nothing on the Site constitutes or should be relied upon as:

  • Medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations
  • Nursing advice
  • Mental health counseling or psychotherapy
  • Legal advice
  • Financial, tax, or investment advice
  • Insurance advice
  • Case management through a government program
  • Emergency or crisis services

You should consult qualified professionals for advice specific to your personal situation, including physicians, licensed clinicians, attorneys, accountants, financial planners, benefits specialists, and other appropriate providers.

If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or seek emergency care immediately.

2. No Provider–Patient Relationship / No Attorney–Client Relationship

Your use of the Site, including reading articles, downloading materials, watching videos, or submitting questions, does not create:

  • a doctor–patient relationship, clinician–patient relationship, nurse–patient relationship, or therapist–client relationship;
  • an attorney–client relationship; or
  • any fiduciary relationship.

Any relationship involving individualized services (if offered) would generally require a separate written service agreement and a specific scope of services.

3. No Guarantee of Outcomes; Use at Your Own Risk

ACS makes reasonable efforts to provide helpful, accurate, and timely educational information. However:

  • Systems, laws, policies, and resources change frequently.
  • Organizations may update eligibility rules, processes, costs, waitlists, and services without notice.
  • Information that is accurate at one time may later become outdated.

Therefore, ACS does not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability of any content, and you agree that you use the Site and apply any information at your own risk.

ACS is not responsible for decisions you make based on Site content, nor for the outcomes of those decisions.

4. Scope of ACS and Golden Guidance Services (Important Clarification)

ACS supports individuals and families through education, care navigation support, care-planning guidance, and consultation intended to help people:

  • understand options,
  • ask better questions,
  • advocate more effectively, and
  • navigate complex systems with greater clarity and confidence.

ACS does not provide:

  • medical care, nursing care, or direct hands-on personal care;
  • diagnosis, treatment, or prescribing;
  • emergency services;
  • legal representation;
  • financial management as a financial institution; or
  • guaranteed results from contacting agencies, providers, or programs.

Golden Guidance is designed to help people better help themselves through educational resources. It is not a substitute for individualized services when those are needed.

5. Third-Party Resources, Links, and Referrals

The Site may include:

  • third-party links, tools, or resources;
  • general listings of community services or programs; or
  • educational references to organizations, providers, agencies, or products.

These are provided for convenience and education. ACS does not control third-party websites, products, services, or program decisions, and we are not responsible for:

  • third-party content accuracy,
  • availability or changes,
  • service quality,
  • eligibility decisions,
  • waitlists or outcomes,
  • pricing, billing, or policies,
  • or any losses that result from third-party use.

You should independently verify third-party information before relying on it.

6. Question Submission Disclosure (Golden Guidance Resource Center)

Members may have the option to submit questions that may be considered as topics for future educational content. Please note:

  • Submitting a question does not guarantee a response, publication, or follow-up.
  • Submitting a question does not create a professional-client relationship.
  • Questions may be used to inform future educational articles or tools, often by summarizing themes or general concerns.

Please do not submit sensitive information

Do not submit highly personal, confidential, or sensitive information (e.g., medical records, Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, detailed legal disputes, or identifying details you do not want shared). While ACS strives to protect privacy, the question submission feature is not intended for transmitting sensitive data.

For individualized support, consider scheduling a consultation with ACS (where applicable and offered).

7. Digital Access Limitations; Technology and Internet Disruptions

The Site and Golden Guidance Resource Center require reliable internet access and compatible devices/browsers.

ACS is not responsible for access issues caused by:

  • internet outages,
  • device failures,
  • software updates,
  • browser incompatibility,
  • email filtering or delivery problems,
  • third-party hosting outages,

  • cyberattacks beyond our reasonable control,
  • or other events outside of ACS’s control.

ACS does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Site.

8. No Refunds Statement

If you purchase access to Golden Guidance (including an Annual Pass/membership), please understand that all sales are final. ACS does not provide refunds, credits, or prorated returns for digital access or membership benefits, including where access is affected by factors outside ACS’s control.

Full payment terms and membership terms are stated in the Terms of Use.

9. Testimonials, Examples, and Stories

Any testimonials, examples, or success stories (if present) reflect individual experiences and are not a guarantee that you or your loved one will have the same results. Outcomes depend on many factors, including personal circumstances, program rules, and availability of resources.

Where examples are used, they may be anonymized, generalized, or hypothetical for educational purposes.

10. State-Specific Information (Wisconsin Focus)

ACS is based in Wisconsin and may reference Wisconsin programs, agencies, managed care structures, long-term care options, and state-specific rules. Information about programs and benefits can vary significantly by state and may change over time.

  • we will disclose the relationship in proximity to the link or recommendation, and/or

If we publish sponsored content, paid placements, or partnerships, we will aim to clearly label such content as “Sponsored,” “Paid,” “Partner,” or similar. Even when content is sponsored, ACS retains editorial discretion unless stated otherwise.
