- Do you know that you, your family and friends, and those you serve are increasingly AT RISK for becoming incapacitated (physically and/or mentally unable to make informed, rational decisions)?
Are you prepared? Are they prepared?
- Incapacitation may be temporary (reversible) or permanent (irreversible). Contributing factors may include alcohol and other drug abuse, Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, health and mental health challenges, medications, accidents, injuries, and much more.
- Life can change in the blink of an eye. Who will care for you and how will they know how you want to be cared for?
- Are you at risk for being put to civil death (ALIVE, with LIMITED or NO RIGHTS) due to the rise in guardianship and related abuse? Do you know how you might minimize your risk?
